Snezana Markulin (SNAKE) was born on 9 January 1966 in Belgrade, where she graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in 1989. She worked in the construction industry for furniture design and decoration. She is one of the founders of Artipolis studios. In 2004 Snezana worked on paper engineering and graphic design for the confectionery industry. Since 2004 she has been working on numerous classic car restoration projects, where her love for cars developed. Today Snezana lives and works in Slovenia, Ljubljana Snezana is a member of the Artipolis studio in Belgrade.

On August 27th, 2023, the Artipolis Gallery in Motovun, Croatia, threw a fantastic HOX ZODIAC night hosted by Snežana Markulin (SNAKE) & Branko Metzger (HORSE). There were 16 guests, 4 tables, and a spread of 16 unique dishes, all coming together to swap stories, groove to music, and perform about our bodies, food, animals, and genetics.
